Both players have agreed three-year contracts with Wigan and the two clubs are reported to have agreed on a £3.5million deal for the duo.
A statement on Rayo’s website states: “We have not yet completed a deal with Wigan for our players Diame and Amaya.
“The talks are very advanced, but there are still loose ends to be tied up.”
