Marquez has held talks with the Catalans over a new deal.
“I do not have a problem with staying here and I intend to close the deal very soon,” he said.
“We are still waiting for a few details to be sorted out but, in general, there is an agreement between both parties.”
“I think this will be my last big deal because I have decided that Barcelona will be my last big club,” he added.
“I want to finish my career in Mexico.”
