Ferguson has labelled the ban ‘disappointing’, but had yet to decide about appealing the punishment or not.
“It is disappointing,” said Ferguson.
“It is the only industry where you can’t tell the truth. But it is in the past now.
“I’ve not decided about appealing.”
Ferguson was handed a five-match touchline ban as well as getting fined £30,000 by the FA for his attack at referee Martin Atkinson after United’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea earlier this month.
