Jorge Higuain, also his father, said that the player, despite not getting as much playing time as he deserves, is happy.
“Nobody at Real Madrid has said anything about wanting to sell Gonzalo and he does not have any intention to leave”, he told La Stampa.
“In fact, he wants to continue with Real Madrid until his contract expires in 2016.
“If somebody told us we were not welcome, I am sure we would receive very good proposals.”
