Alves says he still may join Liverpool if the “economical factors” are right.
Chelsea have already been in talks with Alves’ agent, while Real Madrid are also interested in the £12million rated Brazilian.
He said: “It’s true Liverpool tried to sign me, but the clubs didn’t reach an agreement. I like to watch Gerrard playing. He puts 100 per cent effort into every ball.
“Obviously I am not thinking about that right now when Seville is on the verge of winning three titles.
“Going to a bigger club is not something that obsesses me. But there are lots of factors to be analysed and clearly one of them is the economical one.”
