Eriksson has spent almost £50million on new players so far this summer and is still looking to strengthen his squad even more.
Eriksson is quoted in the Daily Mirror: “I won’t be looking for any excuses.
“We have to do better than last season and I’m quite confident we will do.”
“The fans will be patient if they see we can play good football.
“If you know football, you know things will not happen overnight when you’ve bought at least eight new players.”
