Garrido was the City gaffer’s fifth summer signing.
The Spanish defender said: “Eriksson is a tremendous coach. It’s an honour to be able to come and work with such an internationally recognised manager as him. We’ve had a great start. The team is working well and we’ve been producing good spells of football.”
