Kutner told The Sun: “With all the rumours and conspiracy theories going around we want to make the situation on Frank’s contract absolutely clear.
“I spoke to Peter Kenyon towards the end of last season about extending Frank’s contract.
“Frank absolutely loves the club and his relationship with the supporters is fantastic. They have been great ever since he arrived.
“Before Christmas last year we started negotiations. At present we are waiting for Chelsea to get back to us with an offer. In the meantime Frank is just concentrating on winning every game he plays for Chelsea.”
