The Latics managed an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea at the DW Stadium.
Petr Cech was shown a straight red card for the Blues as they were displaced at the top of the table.
“For sure it was not a good game for us,” he told Sky Sports. “We have played better in other matches.
“Today we didn’t play well. Wigan have played better than us and they deserved to win.”
He added on Cech’s red card: “I don’t know if it was the right decision because the referee was very close to the action but I don’t like to speak about the decision because he was in a good position.”
