Chelsea failed to put the ball out of play and referee Chris Foy decided not to stop the action after Michael Ballack has elbowed Patrice Evra to the ground.
Ancelotti does not believe his side did not take intentionally advantage of the situation.
“Usually the Chelsea players are loyal (honest). If they don’t put out the ball, they haven’t seen a player on the ground. Maybe, also, the referee has to stop the action,” he said.
