Hangeland has been linked with Arsenal and with a move to link up with his former Fulham boss Roy Hodgson at Liverpool.
But the 29-year-old is looking forward to working with new Fulham manager Mark Hughes.
“I’ve always been happy at Fulham and I’ve always said that,” Hangeland told Sky Sports News.
“So that hasn’t changed and I look forward to playing there again.”
He added on Hughes: “Really happy to finally have appointed a manager. Obviously I don’t know Mark Hughes, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about him and I look forward to working with him.
“I think we’ve got some good players and hopefully he can move us all in the right direction.
“We have always been working as a team and we hope to continue doing that under his guidance.”
