Brighton have set their sights on Nurnberg sensation Can Uzun, joining a growing list of European clubs vying for the young talent’s signature.

The 18-year-old, who has already bagged 13 goals and dished out three assists in just 20 appearances this season, is being closely watched by scouts, positioning him as a hot prospect in the transfer market.

Uzun have been linked with the likes of Newcastle United, Fulham, Galatasaray, Borussia Dortmund, and AC Milan, but Brighton has emerged as a front-runner, with Bild reporting their keen interest.

However, Eintracht Frankfurt appears to have the inside track, thanks in part to Uzun’s close relationship with their loanee Nathaniel Brown.

With a €10 million valuation on his head, the Seagulls are urged to intensify their pursuit to secure Uzun’s impressive goal-scoring talents for Roberto De Zerbi’s squad.
