The claim was made by Real after they lost to Barcelona in the Champions League, with UEFA opening up an investigation into the incident.
Tony Freixa, secretary of the Barcelona board, said: “When they [Real Madrid] showed images from Youtube [on their site], we spoke to the player and he told us the accusations are false, and what he said was [Marcelo had] ‘some nerve.'”
