The Blues lost their penalty shootout last May against Manchester United in Moscow.
He said: “After two semi-finals and one final defeat, you yearn for another go and for the chance to win the Champions League.
“I believe we’ll have a chance to get to the final again this year.
“We can go as far as we did last year. We’re a slightly different team but in terms of quality, this team is at least as good as last year’s.”
He added: “The two matches with Juventus proved that — they are a very strong team.
“We can’t forget they beat Real Madrid twice in the group stages. That places even greater value on our victory.
“The manager has got to know the team in a short time and therefore he has acted in a relaxed manner.”
