Chelsea assistant happy with win over Stoke

The Blues managed to book their place in the FA Cup semi-finals following a 2-0 win over Stoke.

Frank Lampard and John Terry scored the goals for the Blues.

“We’re delighted to be in the semi-final,” Wilkins told Sky Sports. “It was tough for us.

“Stoke came after playing some really good football and they make it extremely difficult for you.

“Their organisation is spot on. Defensively and especially from set plays and long throws.

“I thought today we showed a fantastic concentration level and deserved to win the game.”

“John (Terry) was outstanding,” he continued. “John’s been outstanding all season.

“I know a lot of people have highlighted the mistakes he made at Everton, but these things happen he is a human being.

“I thought all season he’s been outstanding. He’s a great captain and I’m delighted to have him on board.

“I think he took a lot of grief from the Stoke supporters and I think that was just a moment for himself, nothing serious.”
