Chelsea boss happy with draw

The Blues conceded three goals in the 3-3 draw with the Toffees on Saturday.

“I think that we did a very good performance for 90 minutes,” the former AC Milan boss told Sky Sports after the match.

“I asked my players to play with intensity for 90 minutes. They did very well for 90 minutes, we didn’t win and this is naturally an important thing but not the most important thing.

“I am happy for the work of the team on the pitch (but) I am unhappy with the result.

“We made some mistakes on the set plays but I prefer to look at the play of the team for 90 minutes and with this I am satisfied because I think that they did a very good job.”

He added: “During the season it (mistakes from set pieces) can happen.

“We lost the game against Aston Villa and then we worked on the set plays and we improved. Now we have to do the same, we have to work and to improve.

“Sometimes, some positions on the set plays were not good. We have to work to find a right position in the box.”
