Cahill’s current contract with Bolton is set to expire at the end of the season.
Bolton are expected to be ready to sell the former Aston Villa man in January, but value the centre-back at around £15million.
Tottenham and Arsenal are also reported to be keeping tabs on Cahill’s situation at Bolton.
