The England skipper said: “Didier terrorised Agger for most of the game on Wednesday.
“He’s so strong, he pins defenders and he’s such a physical handful that they can’t even get around him to even see the ball, let alone beat him to it.
“I struggle in training against him because when he’s at the top of his game there’s not a defender in the world who can handle him comfortably.
“He doesn’t let you get a clean jump at the ball, he batters you in every challenge and you know that he’s devastating when he gets a chance in and around the box.
“He was outstanding in the first leg but that’s no surprise to anybody because he’s been brilliant like that all season. You have to say he’s about as frightening a prospect to handle for a centre half as you can get.”
