Chelsea have had a bid of £27million for the Croatian midfielder rejected by Tottenham, but are expected to make a new bid in the near future.
AVB said: “Luka is a young player but there would be a sensible price for sure.
“It depends on the club’s decision, if they are willing to go forward or not, up to which value and to decide whether they want to keep the interest in the player.
“It doesn’t depend on me – it’s not my money! But we have to take sensible decisions because we are speaking about a high amount.”
