Pizarro told Libero newspaper: “It was the right time to leave Munich, but I am still sad for having said goodbye to them.
“But a new opportunity appeared, I have a new challenge to face and I’m delighted with it.
“Now, I have the opportunity to win the Champions League with a great team and a great coach.
“My goal is to win the Premier League title and all the other cups we’ll play in.”
