Pletikosa almost joined Spurs from Spartak Moscow in the January transfer window, but the 31-year-old failed his medical at White Hart Lane.
“We were talking but we were not able to complete the transfer,” Pletikosa told Jutarnji list.
“But we made a deal and will look again at that in the summer and I really hope luck will be on my side this time.
“I was shown a great deal of respect by Tottenham and I am grateful to the coach Harry Redknapp.”
