Drogba pledges future to Chelsea

The 32-year-old signed a new three-year contract last year and has been a key player at Stamford Bridge, since joining the Blues from Marseille.

“I’d love to stay at Chelsea – that is what I’m trying to do,” he told the News of the World.

“It is good for me – this is the first time I have stayed so long in a club and everything is made for me to stay and end my career here.

“The family is settled here, the children love it at their schools and it would be very difficult to change them from this place.

“Everybody is happy here. I like London a lot and, if I miss something, I can still nip back to France.”
