The People reports that Moyes have had scouts to watch the England Under-21 centre-half in action for the West Brom reserves.
The 21-year-old is regarded as one for the future at West Brom, but has yet to claim a regular place in Roy Hodgson’s first team.
Everton could make a move for the youngster in the January transfer window.
