Forlan moved back into the Atletico team on Sunday in the 4-1 win over Deportivo and the Uruguayan ace scored twice.
“I do not like being on the bench. If I do not play then I am unhappy because I always want to, but I understand that the coach is the one that decides,” Forlan told Marca.
“I did not speak to the coach. I only thought about waiting for my next chance.”
“It is always special to score, but goals are even more important when the team wins,” he continued.
“We needed the three points and the team played well so now we are back up in the European positions.”
