The Cottagers are keen to bring in Green as a replacement for Mark Schwarzer, who looks set to complete a move to Arsenal, according to News of the World.
Schwarzer is expected to complete a £3.5million move to the Gunners in the next two weeks.
Green has just one year left on his contract with West Ham and is keen on leaving the Hammers.
