The Serie A outfit have long been linked with a move for the duo.
“Quagliarella and Amauri are two strikers who I like and that interest me. In January, we must be careful not to make mistakes because we want to improve the ranking of last season,” Preziosi told Corriere dello Sport.
Preziosi has also talked about reports that Diego Milito could return to the club.
“There is a mutual promise with Milito. He considers Genoa his home and we consider him one of the family. He’ll come back to us, even if only for a year,” he said of Milito.
“Could it happen as early as January? Almost impossible. (Genoa midfielder, Juraj) Kucka to Inter? The fact that Inter have bought his co-ownership makes me realise that I was right (about his value).”
