Gera has been in and out of the Fulham side this season but believes Hodgson has taken the club to a higher level.
“I think the manager is very intelligent and has a lot of experience,” he told the club’s official website.
“I’ve learnt a lot from him over the last 18 months. He’s one of the best managers I’ve ever worked with.
“I think he’s done so well in the last two years at the club. Everybody said two seasons ago that Fulham would go down. He kept the club in the Premier League and then achieved the best ever results for the club.”
