Lazio coach Delio Rossi has said he would love to sign Messi.
Lotito said: “Messi is recognized as a great player of international level, but we can ‘please ourselves’ with our talents, we have players who will be the Messis of tomorrow.
“It is not true that the more you spend, the more you win. We must go forward with the young players, players who play for the shirt.
“Lazio’s belief is that the mental application of players is more valuable on the field than how much they are worth in the market.”
