Former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi's agent has revealed that his client plans to leave Fiorentina in January.
Rossi is keen to leave the Viola in order to get regular playing time.
“The club has realised it cannot keep hold of the lad because he wants to play,” agent Federico Pastorello told Radio Marte.
“He will 99 per cent leave Fiorentina in January.”
The forward has recently been linked with Liverpool, Sampdoria and Bologna. Bologna have now ruled themselves out of the race to sign Rossi.
“Roberto Donadoni plays 4-3-3 and Rossi wouldn’t have much space in that system, because we already have Mattia Destro,” Bologna director of sport Pantaleo Corvino told Lady Radio.
“The quality of the player is not up for debate, but he is not part of our plans.”
