However, here are a few of the stories doing the rounds in the media:

Liverpool star linked with Schalke move

According to Sky Sports, German Bundesliga outfit Schalke are interested in signing Liverpool starlet Taiwo Awoniyi.

The Nigerian under-23 international is currently out on loan at Belgian club Mouscron, as the youngster does not qualify for a work permit, so is unable to play for his parent club.

The Sky report claims that the Reds would be looking to loan out the 21-year-old again in the summer. However, that if the Merseysiders did decide to sell the forward they would be looking for close to £15million to part company with the highly-rated youngster.

Dortmund star linked with a move to United

According to the Daily Telegraph, Manchester United are set to do battle with big-spending French outfit PSG for Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho, who is rated in the £100-million bracket.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest young stars in the world game after enjoying a meteoric rise in the past year or so. This season the young winger has been a sensation for Dortmund, who he joined from United’s city rivals Manchester City at just 16-year-old.

Sancho has scored eight times in 17 Bundesliga appearances this season, with his form leading to a call-up to the full England squad. The youngster is expected to have a bright future.

His rise has not gone unnoticed at Europe’s top clubs and it seems unlikely that the youngster will remain with the German club for much longer.

BVB have a reputation as a club that polishes hidden gems and sells them on for a profit, Sancho could be the last star to be sold after making a big impact at the German club.
