Man City striker set to join Bolton

Both Bolton and Wigan were keen on signing the 20-year-old on loan.

“Still on Thursday it looked in the balance, either Bolton or Wigan,” the Slovakian told Dennik Sport.

“I personally spoke with both managers, Mr Coyle and Mr Martinez. They are both very sympathetic, so in this aspect it was all-square in my decision-making.

“I would say that the decisive thing is that Bolton were more persistent. When I was going through the club, I thought, ‘okay, this is the right club’.”
