Maicon has been linked with a €45million move to Premier League side Manchester City.
“When you have a contract in the way, it takes two parties to get things done,” Maicon’s agent, Antonio Caliendo, told Calciomercatonews.com.
“We are aware of offers for Maicon. But for him to leave Inter, the club must agree to it.
“Both parties have to benefit from it. If there were this benefit we could talk about it. So, the choice is up to President Moratti: it’s him who will decide whether to release Maicon.”
Caliendo insists he is not surprised with the interest from City boss Roberto Mancini.
“Mancini has always expressed his desire to have Maicon, so it doesn’t come as a surprise,” Caliendo added to Tuttomercatoweb.
“We’ll see what Inter intend to do at the end of the season…”
