Adriano has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
The 26-year-old is currently back in South America recovering from a thigh injury.
“Without a doubt, Adriano will return to us,” Moratti said.
“My hope is that he recovers as soon as possible from the muscular problem and that he returns to do what he has and can do with us.”
