The Sun says Allardyce have had the 26-year old star watched for the fourth time this season when he plays for Russia against Israel on Saturday.
Allardyce is looking to strengthen his options up front as Nigerian ace Obafemi Martins will be leaving for the African Nations Cup in the New Year.
