He said: “He stood by me when I had my problems last year. He stood by me because he wanted me to come here so I know he believes in me. Jose is a great manager and he’s someone that, if you give him what he wants on the pitch, you’ll be great friends.
“But if you don’t give him what he wants, well, he gets very disappointed! He has big ideas in his head and he’s managed to get that into the heads of all the players in this team and that’s a great thing to have on our side.”
