O’Neill said: “Are Chelsea capable of doing it? Absolutely. The day we played them in the League Cup, you knew they were going to go at us as strongly as possible. Even some of their supposedly lesser players were not played. You knew then that they were serious.
“They are competing for everything. That’s what I like about them. They are going for everything. You would need a bit of luck, though.
“Are they capable of winning the title? Yes. Are they capable of winning the European Cup? Yes.
“Where I do think that Chelsea have been lucky is that their major players have stayed fit.
“Frank Lampard had played 150-odd games consecutively for them and John Terry is very rarely injured, which is why they are missing him now.”
