Pardew said: “We’re obviously making preparations for if we need to but the players here need to establish themselves and progress further to nail down their positions.
“The right side of the pitch is certainly an area that needs to be addressed.
“If one or two are feeling they have no route to the first team we’ll have to sit down with those guys, that’s only fair.”
