The 21-year-old is currently on a season-long loan from United to Tottenham and have impressed at White Hart Lane.
“I spoke to chairman Daniel Levy and there’s an option in our favour in January,” Redknapp was quoted as saying in the Daily Star.
“I do want to keep him, he’s a terrific young talent.
“He’s bright, scores goals, is full of energy and has a terrific attitude.”
