Reo-Coker joined Aston Villa in a £8.5million move from West Ham.
He told The Sun: “The club are heading in the right direction and a top-six finish is realistic.
“The manager says there are another four or five signings to come. He told me all the reasons why he wanted to sign me and that was all I needed to know.
“It’s great knowing I’m going to be playing for such a great manager. He’s made me feel so comfortable, it’s unbelievable.”
