Riesgo is hoping the two clubs can agree on a deal.
The 26-year-old has spent time on trial at Spurs and he says Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was happy with his performance.
Riesgo told Diario Vasco: “It’s a nice opportunity. I would go to a great club and a change of air would be good for me. I have to look out for my interests.
“The coach told me that he was happy with the time that I spent there. Now the clubs have to find a financial agreement. I think that it’s a positive operation for all.”
