Reports have linked Robinho with a move away from the club at the end of the season, after a rollercoaster first season at Eastlands.
A City insider told the Sunday Mirror: “Robinho wanted to know if there was any truth in rumours suggesting he will be sold at the end of the season. The answer he got was very positive.
“He was told he was untouchable as far as being transferred was concerned.
“In return Robinho wanted to give his own assurances that he is happy in Manchester and still wants to be a part of the owners’ ambitious plans for the future.”
