The Sun says the 29-year-old has been offered a new deal despite his chronic left knee problem.
A Spurs’ insider told The Sun: “Harry rates Ledley so highly that he’s desperate to keep him here.
“We all know about his knee problems and how he struggles to play more than one game a week but he’s still viewed as a real asset for the club.
“And that’s why he’s getting this new deal – as recognition of his importance to the club and also as a reward for battling through the pain barrier for Tottenham so many times in the past.”
