Huddlestone picked up the problem following a challenge from John Heitinga during the clash with Everton on Sunday and could not complete the game.
“Scans have revealed that Tom Huddlestone has suffered damage to the ligaments in his right ankle,” read a club statement.
“The England international sustained the injury during Sunday’s win over Everton and the player will now be seen by ankle specialists before deciding on the best course of rehabilitation.”
