Stubbs said: “I’m sure I’ll have Wayne on the phone to me this week telling me to get a result against them.
“We’ve always put up a really good fight against a lot of the top teams at Goodison. This one won’t be any different.
“It’s a home game and we look to win them. Chelsea are a fantastic team but they’re not invincible – no team is invincible.
“Every team has difficult days where things don’t go right and we hope we can catch them on one of those days.”
