The 25-year-old has been a hit at French side Bordeaux and has already scored eight times in Ligue 1 this season.
Cavenaghi told Setanta Sports: “I do not know if Tottenham are really interested in signing me, but, if it is right, I will study this offer because they are a top English team.
“I must say I like the English league, I like it a lot, man.
“You never know if you are going to settle into a new league, for example moving to France was kind of a gamble to me because I thought it would be much more difficult for me.
“But, until that day, everything is fine for me, and, touch wood, it continues like that.
“I would not say I am frustrated at staying on the bench, because this only happens in the Champions League, and I come on as a substitute, but I play every single league game.”
He added: “I know many Premier League players, even if there are not many Argentinians up there, maybe 10.
“I know Tevez and Mascherano well, and they always tell me how happy they are in The Premier League, so why not following in their footsteps?”
