Villa boss Martin O’Neill said: “Chris has already seen one specialist and will see another one in the next 10 days.
“Then he will make his mind up about his whole future, his whole career. I think he’s got a genuine concern. If he was to get blurred vision in the other eye to a similar degree then that would definitely cause him problems.”
