The Hammers are keen to bring in Hart on loan next season as a replacement for Robert Green who is keen on leaving the club at the end of the season.
Hart is currently on loan at Birmingham and the Blues are reportedly keen on keeping him on loan for next season as well.
A West Ham insider told The Sun: “So much depends on what Green decides to do.
“But West Ham see Hart as an ideal replacement.”
