The Sunday Mirror reports that England Under-21 coach has decided to omit the duo following weeks of heated debate over his 23-man squad.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has repeatedly warned Pearce that Wilshere needs a summer’s break.
“Wilshere has played more than 50 games,” said Wenger. “If he goes with the Under-21’s then I will give him a four-week rest.”
