The Spanish midfielder concedes that Bayern are probably playing better at the moment but believes the tie could go either way.
“I think this tie is 50-50. Bayern are a great team, they’ve won the League and are in the final of the German Cup,” Xavi told reporters.
“They are maybe playing a bit better than us going into the semi-finals but we’re going to try play our own game.
“They’ll try and impose their game, which is quite similar to ours, but we’ll see what happens on the pitch. It’s important to score away from home because of away goals counting double.”
