Isco refuses to be drawn on future

The Malaga midfielder is one of Europe’s hottest properties at the moment.

“Nobody knows [about the future],” he told El Pais. “I am here now, tomorrow we’ll see.

“I’ve been a Malaga fan since I was small. I was a junior club member before I left for Valencia [in 2006], and I am very happy to be here now and learning a lot.

“We will see what happens next. It is not something that does not concern me a lot right now. I am enjoying my life at the moment.

“I arrived here aged 19, just a boy. I know I am only at the beginning in football. Pellegrini tells me just to play my football, to get on the ball and link up with my teammates. He has given me all the confidence in the world.”
